Better habits lead to better health ✨ That’s the p Better habits lead to better health ✨ That’s the philosophy behind lifestyle medicine and the reason the Winter Park Health Foundation contributed $25,000 last year to support a pilot program for cardiac patients designed in partnership with 4Roots’ Culinary Health Institute and AdventHealth.WPHF funding paid the program costs for referred patients who otherwise would not have been able to take part in the 12-week opportunity, which activated all pillars of the @centerhealthwellbeing.Not only did participants receive culinary education, medically tailored meals, and produce boxes, they also benefited from fitness memberships and personal training at WPHF’s @crosbywellnesscenter, as well as a series of behavioral health and other consultations.Randall’s story, seen in this video, is just one example of the power of this partnership.Thank you to everyone who joined this effort:🔹 @adventhealthcfl 🔹 @4rootsfarmcampus’ Culinary Health Institute (CHI)🔹 @florida.blue 🔹 @gordonfoodservice We are also excited to share that the @winterparkhealthfoundation is investing an additional $50,000 to expand the program, with a matching $50,000 grant from the Ardmore Institute of Health (@ardmoreinstituteofhealth).Here’s to helping even more people make the changes they need to get and stay healthy!
