On October 21, the Winter Park Health Foundation s On October 21, the Winter Park Health Foundation sponsored the first-ever UF Food is Medicine Summit.Led by the @uflorida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (@uf.ifas), the event brought together more than 180 people from across the university and beyond, including research leaders, students, faculty, clinicians, and both community and academic partners.WPHF’s $20,000 investment helped make it free for everyone to attend.“Together, we are harnessing the power of research and partnerships to advance Food is Medicine and improve community health,” said WPHF President and CEO Nicholas Abrahams.Convening conversations like these that create opportunities for cross-sector collaboration is central to the Winter Park Health Foundation’s commitment to Food Is Health.Thank you to UF/IFAS for this partnership.
