After starting her career at a local CPA firm, she worked as the controller for pharmacy and home healthcare organizations before beginning her role at WPHF.Robin says this milestone reminds her “how much we can accomplish when we listen to one another, stay committed to our purpose, and move forward together.”She says she has learned that “meaningful community work requires the ability to listen, adapt, and grow as the needs of the community change.” We are so grateful for Robin and all the time, thought, and effort she has dedicated to the Foundation these past three decades.Happy WPHF anniversary, Robin!🌟

FOOD IS HEALTH 🌽: This year, $30,000 in WPHF grant FOOD IS HEALTH 🌽: This year, $30,000 in WPHF grant funding is empowering the Culinary Health Institute (CHI) at @4rootsfarmcampus to provide nutrition education at the @centerhealthwellbeing in Winter Park.These specialized workshops and interactive classes reflect the @winterparkhealthfoundation’s focus on expanding Food Is Health knowledge and resources throughout the community and helping residents build a foundation for lifelong health.As part of CHI’s Food as Medicine series, family and lifestyle medicine physician @dr.arianna_becker and Chef Delaño Lambertclare recently led this brain health class featuring a live culinary demonstration along with expert-backed insights on eating to improve brain function.🧠One example: the MIND diet (Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay), which focuses on plant-based foods, while limiting saturated fats and added sugars, and is shown through research to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.Visit 4rootsfarm.org/events to browse CHI’s upcoming classes and start creating your own healthy eating habits.🌟
