Our Roots

WPHF began as the Winter Park Memorial Hospital Association (WPMHA), comprised of community members who built, owned, and operated the hospital now known as AdventHealth Winter Park.

After running the hospital for nearly 40 years following its opening in 1955, WPMHA brought in a corporate partner and eventually sold the hospital completely, transitioning into the independent foundation we are today.
