The Winter Park Health Foundation (WPHF) and the Maitland Public Library continue to partner to provide complimentary “Baby & Me yoga” sessions for the community. This initiative aims to foster healthy habits in little ones ages 5 and under, as well as boost the wellbeing of their grown-ups.

A certified yoga instructor from WPHF’s Crosby Wellness Center typically leads each session, guiding guardians and children through gentle movements and yoga poses. The lessons also include brief storytime breaks to engage the kids.

In June, Joy Henderson, an instructor from WPHF’s Center for Health & Wellbeing, conducted a session at the library, where children and their accompanying adults participated in yoga and meditation and enjoyed readings from picture books.

At WPHF, we are grateful to the Maitland Public Library for collaborating with us to promote wellness within our local community.

Our next “Baby & Me Yoga” session is scheduled for Monday, July 21, 2025, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. This class is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats.
