Named for its generous benefactors Peggy and Philip B. Crosby, the Crosby Wellness Center opened in November 1989 as the area’s first and only medically-integrated fitness facility, becoming a community mainstay and a social hub for local residents and visitors alike.

Today, as the Crosby Wellness Center sits inside the Center for Health & Wellbeing, we celebrate 35 years of serving our members. With exceptional staff, programs, and services, our ownership of Crosby is a key way we meet our mission of optimizing the physical, mental, and emotional health and wellbeing of Eatonville, Maitland, and Winter Park – our focus communities.

As the Crosby Center celebrates its 35th anniversary, take time to hear from original benefactor Peggy Crosby as she shares why her family’s investment in the facility was so meaningful and important.
