wphfbldgThe Winter Park Health Foundation (WPHF) constructed a permanent home in Winter Park in 2005. It enables us to convene groups to provide education and encourage collaboration in an ongoing effort to build a healthier community.

In addition, the Foundation developed and owns several facilities that address health and wellness needs of community members. Each of these community assets offers a unique variety of services. The Foundation has formed important partnerships with the nonprofit organizations listed to operate its facilities.

Miller Center

Elinor & T. William Miller, Jr.
Center for Older Adult Services

millerOwned by the WPHF, and operated by Easter Seals Florida, the Miller Center opened in 1996 and is home to Day Break at Winter Park, an adult day services program offering senior citizens with special needs and their families an alternative to daytime home care or nursing home placement.

Center for Health & Wellbeing

The Center for Health & Wellbeing

The Center for Health & Wellbeing (The Center) is a state-of-the-art, unique healthy living center focused on improving the quality of life for local residents. It will be the home of an all-new Peggy & Philip B. Crosby Wellness Center (which has been serving the community since 1989). In addition, The Center will feature a wide variety of programs to help empower members of the community to be healthier and full of vitality. Scheduled to open late 2018, it will be a special place where WPHF will collaborate with other not-for-profits and groups with similar goals.
