While parents originally led most parts of the event, Fast Start alumni make up a large majority of the volunteers at this annual track and field meet for elementary students.

Scott Millson is a parent, husband and Winter Park resident with a big vision. Get more kids to run. He started the Fast Start Track & Field Invitational, a free, fun sports event open to all elementary school students at eight schools in Winter Park, Maitland and Eatonville.
