Since it opened in 1989, the Crosby Wellness Center has always been a special place with exceptional staff, programs and services focused on improving the physical and social wellbeing of residents from Winter Park and surrounding communities. It will be the cornerstone of the new Center for Health & Wellbeing when it opens late 2018.

Following several years of research and planning, the Winter Park Health Foundation (WPHF) announced plans to rebuild its 25 year-old Peggy & Philip B. Crosby Wellness Center inside a larger, more comprehensive healthy living center integrating Wellness, Medicine and Fitness programs in one convenient location.
The Winter Park resident started by first learning how to research topics on Google. Her topic of choice was flowers, and for the rest of her training session, she and her young trainer looked them up. Her face lit up with each discovery.
