2015 Challenge: Who has the most Sole?

The 4th Annual Sole Challenge, brought to you by Healthy Central Florida, will take place on Saturday, October 24.   In addition to great, free fun for the whole family, community groups can win cash and prizes for bringing out the most walkers.

The FREE fun-filled walk will begin at Quinn Strong Park in Maitland (345 S. Maitland Avenue – Ventris Ave. W & Maitland Ave.)  from 7:30–11 a.m. (7:30-8:30 a.m. registration).

Bring your school, faith-based group, non-profit, club, family, dog, neighbors, friends and co-workers for a heart-healthy walk around beautiful Maitland and Lake Lily. The community groups with the most walkers WIN CASH – and individuals or businesses can WIN GREAT PRIZES too.

By registering for the 2015 Sole Challenge walkers automatically have the opportunity to participate in the Walk90 Challenge, a 90-day friendly competition to keep the fun and fitness going. Simply by walking and logging steps weekly, participants can win weekly prizes, and overall Grand and Runner-up Prizes including Fitbits and a one-year membership to RDV Sportsplex.

Walking is one of the easiest, most injury-free ways for people of all fitness levels to get moving. By making it fun, social and rewarding, Healthy Central Florida hopes to get more people walking.  Healthy Central Florida is a community-based partnership established by the Winter Park Health Foundation and Florida Hospital to transform our community into the healthiest in the nation.
