Patty Maddox Listed Among Those Who Make a Difference in Winter Park

WPM photo of PattyWinter Park Magazine’s newly published list of local “influentials”—those who perpetually make a difference in Winter Park–includes Patty Maddox, President and CEO of the Winter Park Health Foundation (WPHF).

Selected by an anonymous panel, the list featured in the summer edition of the magazine included a diverse group, ranging from educators and activists to business people and volunteers.

Ms. Maddox, who has been with WPHF for some 22 years, has overseen the foundation’s investment of more than $89 million in health- and wellness-related programs in Winter Park, Maitland and Eatonville.

“Throughout my life, I’ve been a big believer in the importance of engagement and collaboration,” says Maddox in the magazine article. “The best work gets done when a group of bright, passionate people work together. I try to surround myself with people who know what they’re doing, and then let them do it. I firmly believe that any success I may have couldn’t have happened without the help of others. I’m privileged to work with a superb staff in a spectacular community.”
