The Winter Park Health Foundation (WPHF) Board of Trustees has launched the new year with a new slate of officers, including Harry Barley, chairman; Toni Jennings, secretary; and J. Kurt Wood, as treasurer. The Board also has added a new member—Sam Stark.

In addition, Ms. Jennings, former Florida Lt. Governor, will continue to serve as Vice-Chair, Children & Youth; Dr. Eddie Needham continues as Vice-Chair, Community Health, and Joyce Swain continues as Vice-Chair, Older Adults.

Mr. Barley, Executive Director of MetroPlan Orlando, has been involved in the transportation industry for 35 years. Before coming to Orlando, Mr. Barley spent the first half of his career with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority building the Metro system in the Washington, D.C. area.

Mr. Stark, President & CEO of Massey Communications, returned to Winter Park last year, leaving the position of Executive Director of the Chicago Sports Commission.

Before heading to Chicago, he was a familiar face in Winter Park as president of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce for six years (2002-2008). He also was president and CEO of the Orlando-based Central Florida Sports Commission.
