Winter Park Health Foundation Elects Officers and Adds Two Trustees

The Winter Park Health Foundation (WPHF) Board of Trustees has elected its 2007 officers and added two new trustees.

Anne Kelley Fray, Executive Vice President and Senior Lender at BankFIRST, is Chairman; Patricia Maddox—President and Chief Executive Officer; Charles F. Pierce, Executive-in-Residence at the University of Central Florida and former president of the Florida Hospital Association—vice-chair for Access to Health Care and Secretary; Brenda Holson, M.D.—vice-chair for Children and Youth; Judy Thames, Florida’s AARP State President—vice-chair for Older Adults; Barbara DeVane, Winter Park City Commissioner—vice-chair for the Winter Park Memorial Hospital Advisory Committee and Gerald Sutton, CPA—Treasurer.

The new trustees include Joseph D. Portoghese, M.D., a Winter Park surgeon and Program Director for the General Surgery Residency Program at Florida Hospital, and Vilma Quintana, Vice President of Community Partnerships for the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director of the Hispanic Summit.

Winter Park Health Foundation is a private not-for-profit organization funding programs that improve the health of children and youth, older adults and the uninsured.  WPHF invests five to six million dollars each year in programs and projects that support its mission of creating the healthiest community in the United States.
