In the beginning, Winter Park Memorial Hospital (WPMH) was our reason for being.

Concerned residents joined together in the early 1950s creating the Winter Park Memorial Hospital Association to build the hospital for our developing community.  

Winter Park Memorial Hospital now is in other hands, but our ties are strong. We continue to honor the legacy of more than 50 years.

Grant Spotlight

A grant of up to $86,000 was approved to purchase “Up to Date” software that is a hybrid between an online medical textbook and the latest medical journals. It provides basic information geared toward practicing physicians and nurses about the diagnosis and treatment of disease. For many physicians, its availability has made it possible to eliminate the need for medical journal subscriptions. The “Up to Date” software has become the standard reference and teaching tool for physician and nurse training programs around the country.
